Na manhã de hoje (12/07) em Los Angeles, Samira Wiley (The Handmaid’s Tale) e Ryan Eggold (New Amsterdam) anunciaram os indicados para o 70th Primetime Emmy Awards, a premiação mais importante da TV escolhida pela Academia de Artes e Ciências televisivas de Hollywood. A cerimônia ocorrerá no dia 17 de setembro no Microsoft Theatre, com transmissão ao vivo pela TNT no Brasil. Ela será apresentada por Michael Che e Colin Jost, a dupla do Weekend Update do programa Saturday Night Live e produção de Lorne Michaels.
Pela primeira vez em décadas, a HBO perde o título de emissora mais indicada. Com 108 indicações este ano (incluindo em categorias técnicas), ela passa a amargar o 2º lugar depois das impressionantes 112 indicações da Netflix, que se torna a líder do Emmy 2018.
